About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Informatica Data Governance Consultant with strong experience in Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Catalog, and Informatica platforms. The successful candidate will help develop a Data Governance & Data Marketplace POC and support its transition toward a production implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a phased Data Governance & Data Marketplace POC.
- Configure metadata ingestion, data cataloging, business glossary, and stewardship workflows.
- Implement data lineage, data discovery, and Data Marketplace capabilities.
- Integrate Informatica with cloud and on-premises data sources.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and define governance solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, configuration guides, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Support the transition from POC to production.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Metadata Management, or Data Governance.
- 2+ years of hands-on Informatica experience.
- Experience with one or more of:
- Informatica Data Catalog
- Informatica Data Governance & Catalog
- Informatica Cloud Data Governance & Catalog (CDGC)
- Informatica Data Marketplace
- Strong understanding of Data Governance, Metadata Management, MDM, Data Quality, and Data Lineage.
- Strong SQL skills and experience integrating Informatica with cloud and on-premises data sources.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong communication, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
