Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist with strong experience in healthcare IT and public-sector environments to support complex applications, integrations, APIs, and enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead QA and system testing activities, including test strategy, test plans, test cases, test data, execution, and reporting.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, API, security, and non-functional testing.
- Test HL7/FHIR-based REST APIs using Postman, SOAP UI, Swagger, or similar tools.
- Perform SQL/data validation and automated testing using Selenium or similar frameworks.
- Conduct WCAG 2.0/AODA accessibility testing.
- Manage defects using Jira, Confluence, TestRail, or similar tools.
- Participate in defect triage, walkthroughs, release validation, and production deployment testing.
- Provide guidance to junior QA team members and work with Agile/DevOps teams.
Must-Have Skills
- 7+ years of QA/System Testing experience
- 5+ years of public-sector healthcare IT experience
- Hands-on experience with FHIR/HL7, REST APIs, Postman/SOAP UI/Swagger
- SQL and database testing
- Selenium/automation testing
- WCAG 2.0/AODA accessibility testing
- SAML/JWT security testing
- Strong defect management and SDLC experience
- Experience with Jira/Confluence/TestRail
- Strong communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
