Junior UX/UI Designer
Location: Ontario, Canada

We are looking for a Junior UX/UI Designer to support the design of user-friendly and accessible web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with user research, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and UI design.
Key Responsibilities
- Support UX/UI projects from research and discovery through design, prototyping, testing, and delivery.
- Conduct user research, interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
- Participate in UX workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions.
- Design responsive experiences for web, mobile, and multiple devices.
- Gather user feedback and iterate designs to improve usability.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, business users, and stakeholders.
- Prepare design documentation and communicate design concepts clearly.
Must-Have Skills
- 2+ years of UX/UI, Interaction Design, Product Design, or similar experience.
- Experience designing web and mobile applications.
- Knowledge of user research and usability testing.
- Experience with wireframes, user flows, journey maps, mockups, and prototypes.
- Proficiency with Figma, Canvas, or similar tools.
- Understanding of accessibility and WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Basic knowledge of the Ontario Design System and Digital Service Standard.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ontario Government / Public Sector experience.
- Experience with legacy systems.
- Experience designing accessible digital services.
