Change Management Consultant – Onsite
Location: Winnipeg, MB – Onsite
Contract: 6 months with potential for 2 additional 12-month extensions
Hours: Approximately 37.25 hours/week
We are looking for an experienced Change Management Consultant to support a large enterprise transformation initiative. This is a hands-on change role requiring someone who can develop and lead change strategies, assess organizational impacts, support business readiness, and work closely with leaders and project teams throughout implementation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and lead enterprise-level change management initiatives using established change methodologies.
- Develop comprehensive change management and business readiness strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct change-impact and readiness assessments and identify risks, gaps, and stakeholder impacts.
- Develop change plans, strategies, communications, and supporting materials.
- Apply structured change-management practices, including ADKAR principles.
- Work closely with project teams and stakeholders throughout project delivery.
- Provide change-management coaching and consulting to leaders.
- Develop measures for change effectiveness and monitor/report on the success of change-management interventions.
- Support stakeholder engagement, adoption, communications, and reinforcement activities.
- Ensure change activities are coordinated with the overall project plan and implementation approach.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience developing and leading enterprise change initiatives using recognized change-management methodologies.
- Prosci Change Management certification with demonstrated experience applying ADKAR – Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability and Reinforcement to change initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience developing change plans, impact assessments, strategies and communications.
- Strong experience providing change-management coaching and consulting to leadership.
- Experience building change programs and readiness strategies that support business objectives.
- Experience establishing measures and reporting on the effectiveness of change-management activities.
- Experience working collaboratively with project teams using established project methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint and Teams.
- Working knowledge of project-management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) and Jira.
Additional Information
This is an onsite position in Winnipeg, so candidates must be comfortable working onsite for the duration of the assignment. The initial contract is approximately six months, with the possibility of two 12-month renewal terms
