The contractor will analyze and translate user telephony configurations from the existing PBX platform to the next-generation PBX environment supporting Microsoft Teams Phone. Responsibilities include user profile mapping, DID assignments, voice policies, call routing configurations, hunt groups, call queues, voicemail settings, validation testing, migration support, and post-cutover issue resolution
This Role Would Be Responsible For
- Extracting and analyzing user configurations from the legacy PBX
- Mapping user profiles, DIDs, line appearances, call flows, hunt groups, call queues, voicemail settings, and routing policies
- Translating legacy telephony settings into the new PBX/Teams voice architecture
- Supporting bulk user migrations and validation testing
Essential Skills
- Three (3) years' experience as a System Analyst and /or Telecommunications Specialist/Engineer; and
- Three (3) years' experience with large, complex telecommunication systems that include hardware, software and documentation deliverables;
Desired Skills
- Experience with wireline technology solutions, from legacy to leading edge (including but not limited to Nortel, Avaya, Microsoft);
- Experience with Unified Communications solutions (including, but not limited to, Avaya, Microsoft, Polycom);
- Proven experience with large scale, corporate wide project implementations;
- Knowledge of project management processes and experience with PM documentation;
- Proven knowledge of system acquisition and methodologies and quality standards;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate both internally and externally with personnel at all levels.

This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
