What You'll Do
Set up and operate various CNC and manual grinding machinesManage the full process from drawing review to completed parts, including programming, tooling orders, machine setup, manual measurements, and adjustments based on CMM dataCollaborate with manufacturing engineering teams to develop machining processes for complex componentsProgram components for machines using conversational programming practicesMaintain machine tools and equipment to ensure optimal performanceImplement 5S methodology (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) to drive continuous improvement in the lab workspaceAdhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
What You'll Bring
Red Seal certification preferred or equivalent experienceExperience in abrasive CNC and manual grinding processesExperience in precision gear/thread machining considered an assetProficiency in working with tight tolerances in metric units (microns)Strong written and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsSolid understanding of GD&T as per ASME Y14.5
