About the role
We are hiring a Junior NetSuite Administrator to help configure, customize and support our NetSuite account. You will work directly with our NetSuite Architect on workflows, forms, custom records and scripts, and keep our item, employee, Field Service Asset and pricing data clean and import-ready.
The role is split between system customization and data management. You will support an experienced NetSuite team as it delivers on its implementation and configuration goals, learning how a well-run account is designed and governed, with a clear path toward a NetSuite Administrator, Developer or Functional Consultant role.
Key responsibilities
Configuration and customization
- Build and maintain SuiteFlow workflows for approvals, notifications and field updates.
- Customize entry and transaction forms, and create custom fields, records and lists.
- Write, test and maintain SuiteScript 2.x (client, user event, scheduled, Map/Reduce) under the Architect's guidance.
- Maintain roles and permissions, saved searches, reports and dashboards.
- Test every change in Sandbox, document it, and promote it to Production.
Data management
- Keep master data (items, employees, Field Service Assets, price lists) aligned to our naming and field standards.
- Plan and run CSV imports and mass updates, and validate the results.
OneWorld, payments and inventory
- Support our OneWorld setup: subsidiaries, intercompany transactions, consolidation and multi-currency.
- Administer the Electronic Bank Payments (EFT) SuiteApp: vendor and employee bank details, payment batches, bank file formats and approvals.
- Support warehouse and inventory management: locations, bins, lot and serial numbers, transfer orders, adjustments and cycle counts.
Support
- Provide first-level user support and troubleshoot errors.
- Help test the twice-yearly NetSuite releases and keep system documentation current.
- Use AI tools such as Claude to draft scripts, workflow logic, search formulas, import templates and documentation, and validate every output before it reaches Production.
Required qualifications
- 1–3 years of hands-on NetSuite administration or support experience.
- Working experience building SuiteFlow workflows and customizing forms, fields and custom records.
- Basic JavaScript, with exposure to SuiteScript 2.x.
- Saved searches, including formula fields and summary criteria.
- CSV import experience and strong Excel skills.
- Understanding of how NetSuite records relate in a OneWorld (multi-subsidiary) account, including inventory, purchasing and vendor payment transactions.
- Hands-on use of AI assistants such as Claude in day-to-day work, with good judgement about checking their output.
- Clear written communication and the habit of documenting changes.
- Diploma or degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- NetSuite Certified Administrator or SuiteCloud Developer certification (or working toward one).
- SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) and Git.
- Advanced PDF/HTML templates (FreeMarker).
- SuiteQL or SQL, and exposure to REST/SOAP integrations.
- Field Service Management or Electronic Bank Payments (EFT) SuiteApps.
- Experience connecting AI to NetSuite, such as Claude through the NetSuite AI Connector (MCP), or SuiteScript's N/llm module.
- Experience on an ERP implementation or data migration project.
