The order analyst performs all the imperative corporate parts expediting for Caterpillar including constant traffic improvements, cost and service improvements and timely delivery of emergency parts to all branch locations.

In a typical day, YOU will:
- Demonstrate in safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors at all times, in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policies, Programs and initiative
- Utilizing the ECAN orderboard to strategically prioritize orders/escalation with CAT
- Analyze orderboard to strategically escalate with CAT while maximizing revenue for ECAN Toromont and minimize customer impact
- Investigate orderboard data to pre-escalate (pull in orders) to meet requirements
- Use ECAN orderaboard to seek solutions such as alternate parts, souring from other dealers, reman or repair to meet ESD date for orders
- Act as the main liaison with PSM’s, PSSR or leaders on escalation requests
- Inform/provide recommendation to the ECAN Supply chain planning group on repetitive part shortage issues
- Participate new project such as CPT or CCR and provide planned ordering guidance
- If needed address branch queries as well as attending to the needs and concerns of daily branch functions
- If needed instruct order analyst to purchase emergency parts and arrange carrier shipments for CAT Dealers in North America
- When needed review, analyze and optimize traffic flow movements and improve turnaround time on expedited services to all branches
- Overview emergency parts orders in a prompt manner
Must-haves for this role:
- Post Secondary Education and 3+ years experience of CAT parts expediting
- Capability to handle multiple escalation
- Customer-centric with a proven ability to build and sustain customer relationships through effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail and a sense of urgency to proactively purchase parts and work with customs/carriers to customer needs
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask, prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
- A positive team player with a mindset for continuous improvement
- Computer and systems literate with proficiencies in Microsoft Office Applications including AS400
- Knowledge of DBS, CAT SIS, or experience with similar systems would be beneficial
- Willing and able to work flexible hours in support of the business needs
