Component Services consists of several diverse areas of focus, including DHC-8 Q400 Landing Gear Overhauls, QEC activities for PW100 series engines and CF34-3B/8C/8E engines, fan blade/pin relube for CF34-3B/8C/8E engines, wheel and brake overhauls, NDE inspections, tool calibration services, and specialized component repair activities.
As a key member of the Component Services team, the Component Services Repair Administrator will report to the Manager, Component Services and be responsible for providing administrative support to the department. The successful candidate will assist in the creation and management of repair orders, work scopes, customer communications, material tracking, invoicing, and reporting activities to support the efficient execution of component repair programs. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer commitments, material requirements, and financial processes are managed accurately and efficiently.
Repair Administration & Documentation
- Create and maintain aircraft and department work orders, work packages, and supporting forms.
- Collect and distribute repair requests and materials required to support repair activities.
- Assist with the preparation of customer estimates and supporting documentation.
- Generate reports, proposals, and departmental correspondence as required.
- Audit certifications, work packages, internal forms, and inventory records to support forecasted workload requirements.
- Maintain accurate administrative records and tracking systems to support operational performance.
Material Coordination & Operational Support
- Coordinate with Material Control regarding outstanding materials, customer-supplied material, and inventory movements.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure accurate documentation of material movement.
- Work with OEMs, Stores, and Maintenance personnel to identify and address material shortages.
- Support repair activities by obtaining status updates and coordinating requirements necessary to meet delivery commitments.
- Assist in resolving material and documentation issues that may impact production schedules.
Customer & Vendor Relations
- Build and maintain professional working relationships with internal departments, customers, and vendors.
- Coordinate the exchange of information required to support repair activities and customer commitments.
- Provide status updates and administrative support related to customer repair programs.
- Support effective communication between operational teams and external stakeholders.
Financial Administration
- Generate internal and external invoices for completed repair activities.
- Verify billing against approved estimates and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate invoice review and approval processes.
- Ensure completed revenue and cost packages are forwarded to Accounting for posting.
- Support financial accuracy through thorough documentation and record management.
Continuous Improvement & Team Support
- Support process improvement initiatives within Component Services.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of administrative systems and reporting tools.
- Contribute to operational efficiency through accurate tracking, reporting, and coordination activities.
- Perform additional administrative duties as required to support departmental objectives.
Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:
Required Qualifications:
- College diploma or equivalent education in Aircraft Maintenance, Engineering, Technology, Business, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and sound judgment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of aircraft parts and repair processes.
- Working knowledge of WinAir.
- Familiarity with MRB requirements.
- Knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs).
- Previous experience supporting aviation maintenance, repair, or MRO operations.
Eligibility:
You must be legally eligible to work for a Canadian company (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a clear Criminal Background Check.

Location and Compensation:
- You will work out of our North Bay office.
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week.
- Compensation starts at $29.75 and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
