EPIC Radiant Analyst / Consultant
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced EPIC Radiant Analyst to support the implementation, optimization, enhancement, and maintenance of the EPIC Radiant application. The ideal candidate will work closely with radiology departments, clinical staff, and technical teams to analyze business requirements, configure the EPIC Radiant system, perform testing, provide end-user support, and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, and maintain the EPIC Radiant application.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and clinical workflow requirements.
- Collaborate with radiologists, imaging departments, physicians, and operational stakeholders to optimize workflows.
- Configure EPIC Radiant based on organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Perform unit testing, integrated testing, regression testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely production support.
- Coordinate with EPIC modules such as Cadence, Prelude, Orders, ASAP, Beaker, MyChart, and Cogito where integration is required.
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and new feature implementations.
- Create and maintain system documentation, workflows, build documentation, and training materials.
- Participate in on-call support and incident resolution as needed.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, healthcare regulations, and organizational policies.
- Work closely with cross-functional technical and clinical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience supporting or implementing EPIC Radiant.
- EPIC Radiant Certification (active certification preferred).
- Experience with clinical workflow analysis and application configuration.
- Knowledge of radiology operations and imaging workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EPIC implementation or optimization projects.
- Knowledge of HL7 interfaces and integration concepts.
- Experience with Change Management and Release Management processes.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Cogito, Reporting Workbench, and Radar.
