Job Description
On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a Senior Business Analyst.
Responsibilities
- Providing regular status updates on assigned activities, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Adhering to SAP Modernization Program standards, methodologies, governance processes, and documentation requirements.
- Collaborating with project team members, business stakeholders, and external partners to support project objectives and deliverables.
- Maintaining assigned project artifacts and ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and current.
- Participating in project planning, governance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activities as required.
- Supporting knowledge transfer, stakeholder engagement, and organizational readiness activities throughout the project lifecycle.Plan and facilitate discovery, analysis and validation sessions. Document processes, requirement, business rules, decisions, actions and traceability.
- Analyze issues, options, impacts, dependencies, volumes and stakeholder needs.
- Prepare concise recommendations, governance materials and decision records.
- Support data-quality assessment, remediation tracking and conversion validation.
- Develop test scenarios, cases, evidence and defect analysis.
- Support change-impact, readiness, cutover and hypercare activities.
- Maintain artefacts in approved repositories using program standards.
- Use approved AI tools for transcription, drafting, synthesis and quality checks, with accountable human review.
- Move between workstreams while preserving continuity, context and priorities.
- Identify, document and communicate risks, issues, dependencies and status information to support effective project governance and delivery.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting large-scale business transformation, ERP, or technology implementation projects.
- Demonstrated experience eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements, business processes, and stakeholder needs.
- Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, and working sessions with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and project teams.
- Experience developing and maintaining project documentation, including requirements, process models, business rules, decision logs, and traceability artifacts.
- Experience working within structured project delivery methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience using business analysis, process mapping, requirements management, documentation management, or project delivery tools to support planning, analysis, testing, and reporting activities.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting SAP ERP, SAP SuccessFactors, or other large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Experience working with public sector organizations or large, complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience using business process modelling, requirements management, project delivery, testing, or documentation management tools.
- Knowledge of organizational change management, business readiness, training, or stakeholder engagement practices.
- Experience supporting solution design, testing, data migration, or implementation activities in partnership with system integrators or external vendors.
- Professional Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent) and/or related project delivery certifications
