About The Role
Reporting directly to the Manager of Business Analysis, this role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions within Sanimax. As a Business Analyst, you will serve as a strategic partner to the Finance teams, supporting decision-making processes and optimizing financial workflows. Your expertise will facilitate the development and implementation of technology solutions that enhance financial visibility, ensure compliance, and improve overall organizational performance. You will act as a key liaison between business users, IT teams, and external vendors, ensuring that project objectives are met efficiently and effectively. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A minimum of five years of experience supporting finance, ERP, and business transformation projects is required. Proven ability to lead requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, and solution design in dynamic environments is essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong influence and communication skills, with experience working in vendor-led implementation settings and collaborating with external solution providers. Experience supporting financial systems, including core processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting, is highly valued. Familiarity with ERP systems (Infor M3 experience is a strong asset), SQL, Anaplan, or similar tools is preferred. Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in French is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Logistics, and Transportation teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimize end-to-end financial workflows.
- Lead requirements discovery sessions and facilitate workshops with stakeholders to understand, analyze, challenge, and prioritize business needs, while driving consensus and decision-making in environments with evolving processes and governance structures.
- Analyze and document business processes, workflows, data flows, system integrations, and ERP capabilities to recommend solutions that enhance efficiency and ensure data integrity.
- Develop comprehensive business requirements, process documentation, user stories, and other artifacts to support project delivery and validate solutions.
- Lead initiatives from initiation through implementation, demonstrating leadership in problem-solving, resource engagement, stakeholder coordination, and risk management to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), support users during testing phases, and ensure delivered solutions meet specified business needs and quality standards.
