ABOUT THE HQ DIVISION
Operating year-round, Air Inuit’s Hydro-Québec Division provides air transportation services to key Hydro-Québec sites across the Saguenay, Abitibi, North Shore, and James Bay regions.
The division currently operates a fleet of four aircraft, consisting of two Dash 8 Q400s and two Dash 8-300s. In 2026, these aircraft will be replaced by a modern fleet of ATR72-600s, reflecting our commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Lead Stores Agent is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the Stores Department, ensuring the efficient receipt, inspection, storage, issuance, and shipment of aircraft parts and components. This role supports maintenance operations by maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing leadership and guidance to Stores personnel to support safe, reliable, and efficient fleet operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mentor and provide guidance to Junior Stores Agents in the execution of their duties;
- Receive aircraft parts and components, verifying quantities, condition, certification documentation, and compliance with applicable airworthiness requirements;
- Receive, inspect, and process repaired and overhauled components, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and accurate;
- Maintain inventory control and ensure proper stock rotation and storage practices;
- Review documentation for unserviceable parts and ensure all required records are complete prior to shipment;
- Work closely with the Repair & Overhaul Supervisor to coordinate the movement, tracking, and processing of components sent for repair or overhaul;
- Perform inspections of major rotable components;
- Ensure shipments and pickups of repairable and overhauled components are processed and expedited efficiently;
- Review parts pick lists and update the WinAir database as required;
- Issue and replenish parts in support of maintenance operations;
- Assist with Aircraft on Ground (AOG) requests and other operational requirements;
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU AN IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Valid driver's licence;
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) and an Airside Vehicle Operator Permit (AVOP);
- Physically capable of loading, unloading, and handling aircraft parts and components;
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in aviation materials control, stores operations, or a related aviation environment, including demonstrated leadership experience in coordinating and supporting the work of team members;
- Strong knowledge of aircraft parts certification, airworthiness requirements, and maintenance documentation;
- Experience using inventory management systems, preferably WinAir;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong communication and teamwork skills;
- Forklift certification is considered an asset.
