ABOUT THE HQ DIVISION
Operating year-round, Air Inuit’s Hydro-Québec Division provides air transportation services to key Hydro-Québec sites located throughout the Saguenay, Abitibi, North Shore, and James Bay regions.
The division currently operates a fleet of four aircraft, consisting of two Dash 8 Q400s and two Dash 8-300s. In 2026, these aircraft will be replaced by a modern fleet of ATR72-600s, reflecting our commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Technical Librarian is responsible for the administration, control, and maintenance of all technical publications used by Maintenance personnel. This role ensures that controlled technical documentation remains accurate, current, accessible, and compliant with regulatory requirements, supporting the safe and efficient operation of the fleet.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive, review, and process incoming technical publications, revisions, and service information from aircraft and component manufacturers;
- Maintain the Technical Library and ensure all controlled technical publications remain current and up to date;
- Update and maintain the Technical Publications Index and associated tracking systems;
- Ensure all maintenance manuals, service bulletins, temporary revisions, and other controlled documents are properly filed and accessible to authorized personnel;
- Coordinate the distribution of technical publications and revisions to Maintenance personnel and applicable departments;
- Liaise with aircraft manufacturers, vendors, and publication providers regarding revisions, subscriptions, and technical documentation updates;
- Monitor publication revisions and ensure documentation changes are incorporated in a timely manner;
- Support the introduction of new aircraft types and systems by maintaining and controlling associated technical documentation;
- Assist Maintenance personnel in locating and retrieving technical publications and reference documents when required;
- Inform the Supervisor, Technical Records of any irregularities, missing publications, subscription issues, or documentation discrepancies;
- Carry out all other assigned tasks.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU AN IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Aircraft Technical Publications, Technical Records, Library Services, Aircraft Maintenance, or a related environment;
- Familiarity with Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC), Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), and other technical publications;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to work methodically and manage multiple documentation updates simultaneously;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint;
- Ability to organize, analyze, and manage large volumes of technical documentation;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Experience with electronic document management systems is considered an asset;
- Experience with WinAir is considered an asset;
- Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written) is considered an asset.
