Your Opportunity:
The Senior Executive Associate provides senior and management level administrative management services to the office of the SVP, Corporate and Clinical Support Services, reporting to the Director. The role participates in planning and implementation of initiatives and projects and achieving the goals and objectives of the organization. The role acts on behalf of the Director where appropriate in fulfilling operational accountabilities, partners with the Director in overseeing corporate accountabilities and sensitive and complex issues and is responsible for achieving the objectives of the office of the SVP. The role is accountable for issues management, project management, relationship management, committee support and senior executive administrative support and office management responsibilities. The role will build collaboration, consistency and continuity within the office of the SVP and the organization and its portfolios while providing background, analysis and strategic and professional advice on issues related to administrative management, policies and organizational matters.
Description:
Executive Support: Provides strategic advice and recommendations. Creates reports, briefings, correspondence, and updates. Analyzes strategic materials and extracts pertinent information. Creates plans and offers knowledge, advice, analysis and alternative approaches. Provides coverage for the Director and Executive Admin Coordinator in the SVP’s office. Issues Management: Effective administration, coordination, and management of information. Independently responds to inquiries and actions urgent/sensitive requests. Prioritizes, anticipates and resolves issues of significance or impact. Prepares recommendations via briefings and proposals. Project Management: Leads multi-phased initiatives and projects. Develops comprehensive project plans. Allocates and manages resources. Communicates and collaborates with stakeholders. Monitors outcomes. Communications and Relationship Management: Develops networks with internal and external stakeholders and engages a variety of partners. Fosters an environment of collaboration, respect and teamwork. Handles sensitive contacts involving confidential information. Initiates follow-up meetings and communication. Operations Management: Approves appropriate expenses and reimbursements. Provides guidance and mentoring to other support employees. Uses organizational understanding and business acumen to further plans and initiatives. Develops plans for executive meetings including agendas and supporting materials. Anticipates needs and responds to requests for data to support decisions. Influences strategy and plans through engaging organizational leadership. Leads the creation and delivery of strategic planning documents.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in health services administration or business administration, or related field or equivalent experience is required. At least 7 years experience in senior or management level administrative roles, preferably in a health care environment and demonstration of the following: Experience in issues or concerns management, project management, planning and operations. Demonstrated ability to foster relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to be discreet in dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information. Proven ability to work within a team as a contributing member. Proven ability to be proactive and anticipate needs and supports. Effective change management skills.
