Bannister Hyundai Chilliwack is looking for a Fixed Operations Manager to lead our Service and Parts operations. The Drive Ahead
As Fixed Operations Manager, you will provide leadership and direction across the dealership’s Service and Parts departments, ensuring both teams work together to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.
You will:
Lead, coach, and support the Service and Parts teams to achieve departmental and dealership goals
Oversee the day-to-day performance of fixed operations, including productivity, profitability, workflow, and customer satisfaction
Develop and execute strategies to increase service retention, parts sales, gross profit, and overall department performance
Monitor key performance indicators and financial results, identifying opportunities for improvement
Work closely with department leaders to establish targets and maintain accountability
Ensure effective staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management across fixed operations
Build a strong culture focused on teamwork, communication, accountability, and exceptional customer service
Maintain strong manufacturer relationships and ensure compliance with Hyundai policies, programs, and standards
Oversee warranty processes, inventory management, shop productivity, and operational efficiencies
Partner with the General Manager and other dealership leaders to support overall dealership objectives
Ensure all departments operate in accordance with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable regulations
Performance Essentials
We’re looking for a leader who brings both strong automotive knowledge and a people-first approach.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous automotive dealership management experience, ideally within Service, Parts, or Fixed Operations
Strong understanding of dealership fixed operations, financial statements, KPIs, and departmental profitability
Proven ability to lead, coach, develop, and motivate high-performing teams
Strong business acumen with a results-driven approach
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
A commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience
Experience working with manufacturer programs, warranty processes, and dealership systems
The ability to build positive working relationships across departments
A valid driver’s licence and clean driving record
Hyundai or import dealership experience is considered an asset
