Position Overview
We require a Full Time Night Auditor who will assist guests with their overnight requests and balance accounts from the day shift. The Night Auditor will check in guests arriving at night, handle guest requests and take reservations.
The Night Auditor will promote a positive image of Basecamp Property Management Ltd, and must be pleasant, friendly, and able to address problems or special requests.
Wage: $21.50 per hour
Shifts: Full-time Permanent, 8-hours
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to all forms of guest queries regarding current and future bookings through telephone, email and in person.
- Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints and emergencies.
- Reconcile all accounts in a timely manner.
- Manage the property’s booking management system, ensuring that bookings are carried out in the most efficient manner for housekeeping services, property revenue potential and guest satisfaction.
- Address issues brought forward by current or past guests and resolving them in a manner that provides the best outcome for both the guest and the property.
- Practice safe work habits, including bending and lifting appropriately to avoid injury, reporting hazards, appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and working to minimize tripping hazards.
- Report any damages or repairs to the correct department.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas such as front desk, property entryways, common areas, etc.
- Always greet guests in a friendly and professional manner according to Basecamp Property Management Ltd standards .
- Comply with the Basecamp Property Management Ltd Policies, Procedures and Code of Ethics.
- Monitor properties at night to ensure security and quiet hour compliance.
- Uniform and personal appearance are kept clean and professional and are in accordance with Basecamp Property Management Ltd standards.
Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrate organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Able to work well independently with little supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Take initiative in solving problems.
- Excellent guest services skills.
- Promote positive relationships in communication and cooperation with all coworkers and guests.
- Must be proficient with the use of computers and telephones, including the use of Property Management Systems.
- Ability to monitor and communicate with guests at multiple properties
