We are currently recruiting for the position of:
Membership Sales and Services Representative
The Membership Sales and Services Representative provides direct, member-facing service while helping create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive YMCA experience. The role promotes memberships and programs, responds to member needs, and supports consistent service and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide welcoming and inclusive front-line customer service to members and visitors.
- Promote and sell YMCA memberships through in-person interactions, facility tours, phone calls, and email communications.
- Conduct engaging facility tours and respond to member inquiries, concerns, payments, refunds, facility bookings, and service issues in accordance with YMCA procedures.
- Ensure members and visitors are properly signed in and actively monitor the facility, responding appropriately to alarms, safety risks, incidents, and emergencies.
- Perform opening and closing duties assigned, ensuring procedures are followed and the building is safe and secure.
- Participate in outreach initiatives, promotional campaigns, and community events as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and accurately complete required membership records, documentation, and customer management system entries.
- Demonstrate YMCA values and standards of conduct and carry out other duties as assigned in support of YMCA operations, member service, and team needs.
Required Skills
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a professional and approachable manner.
- Ability to effectively promote YMCA memberships and programs and support member engagement and retention.
- Strong computer and digital skills, including knowledge of or the ability to learn the YMCA customer management system.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, member-facing environment, follow safety and emergency procedures, and respond professionally to challenging situations.
- Reliable, punctual, accountable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
