Your New Role
As the Security and Parking Operations Head, you will lead physical security operations, emergency preparedness, personnel security screening, contracted guard services and parking operations.
What You Need to Do
- Lead day-to-day physical security and guard force operations
- Oversee access control, CCTV, alarm systems and other security technologies
- Administer personnel security screening and clearance processes
- Conduct security investigations, incident reviews and risk assessments
- Manage contracted security services, including performance, compliance and invoice verification
- Develop and monitor security and emergency preparedness training
- Coordinate security planning, crowd management and emergency measures for events
- Support emergency preparedness, evacuation planning and operational response
- Oversee parking operations and related services
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- 4+ years of experience managing physical security operations, security programs, guard services, access control, CCTV and alarm systems, along with experience administering security screening programs.
- Demonstrated experience leading security personnel or contracted providers, conducting investigations and risk assessments, and managing security service contracts.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and security management platforms is required.
- Experience within a museum, cultural institution, federal organization or other high-volume public facility is also an asset.
- English and French are essential, with a bilingual non-imperative CBC/CBC requirement.
- The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
