Our client, an established residential property owner and manager, seeks an experienced Live-In Superintendent for a well-maintained rental community in Scarborough. Your Role
As the Live-In Superintendent, you will manage the property's daily operations, maintenance, and overall presentation. You will respond to resident maintenance requests, complete general repairs, conduct regular inspections and ensure building systems and common areas are maintained to a high standard.
You will also coordinate contractors, support preventative maintenance activities, respond to emergencies and serve as a familiar, approachable presence for residents.
This hands-on position suits someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in solving problems, and understands the importance of maintaining a safe, welcoming residential community.
What Sets You Apart
You bring experience as a Live-In Superintendent, Building Superintendent, or Maintenance Technician in a high-rise apartment environment. You are comfortable completing general plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other routine maintenance repairs within your qualifications.
You have a practical understanding of residential building systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the judgment to recognize when you need specialized contractors.
Most importantly, you are reliable, approachable and genuinely enjoy working with residents. You take ownership of your responsibilities and treat the property as though it were your own.
