Original job description
Job Title: Forecast Planner
Salary Range: CAD$54,600–
CAD$68,250
Working Type: On-Site
PURPOSE
OF ROLE
To manage all
aspects of the retail forecast at site in order to achieve the required Hilton
standards of the customer service level, production and primal movements, cost
control and primal optimization
To be a strong
participant and team player within the Planning and Commercial team.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Main
activities of the business processes
Create and maintain the Hilton retail
forecast
Check the short forecast horizon (day +0 and
day +1)
Tracking forecast deviations using the Demand
planner
Check actual sales vs forecast
Maintain and provide forecast accuracy reports
Maintain and navigate the Demand planner
Monitoring Walmart forecast performances
Participates in the Scheduling roster to
execute daily operation tasks
Other

Tracking sales/forecast deviations
Highlights potential issues to Planning
manager/management
Communication with Commercial team Hilton and
Walmart (Replenishment level)
Create and maintain a Hilton retail base line
forecast using the provided planning tools, systems, and procedures
Ability to review and amend the forecast
daily/weekly
Signalling function of potential issues
Communication with planners providing the most
updated retail forecast
Tracking actual sales orders
Be involved in stock control, procurement and
logistics at site. Proactively
identify stock shortages, communicating and resolving the issues and
advising Planning manager in regarding of purchasing and/or other
departments of potential service issues.
Ensure efficient forecast plans and timely
communication to relevant departments.
Participates in meetings
Participates in the roster to execute daily
operation tasks
Communication within the team and surrounding
departments
Maintain and report material KPI’s
Able to cover targeted tasks of other planning
team members in case of absence
Participates, contributes and delivers data
for the S&OP meetings
Cross trained in all Planning department
roles.
KEY
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Ability and proven experience in Forecasting and Planning
Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, retail sector
Experience with ERP systems
