IT Change Management Analyst – ITSM
Location: GTA – Hybrid, 2–4 days onsite
Duration: 12 months, with potential extension/conversion
Start: October 19, 2026
Schedule: Rotating shifts of 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or 11:00 AM–7:00 PM. Flexibility required.
Travel: Candidates must be able to work from Toronto, Scarborough and Mississauga locations as required.
Role Overview
Seeking an experienced IT Change Management Analyst to support enterprise Technology Change Management within a large, complex IT environment. The role will coordinate and govern technology changes, review change requests, facilitate change-management activities and support continuous improvement of ITSM processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute the daily IT Change Management process.
- Review change requests for completeness, quality, risk, impact and compliance with established processes.
- Monitor technology change implementations and support change-related operational activities.
- Facilitate Change Post Implementation Reviews (CPIRs) and track improvement actions.
- Chair and facilitate Change Management meetings.
- Identify scheduling conflicts and support change collision mitigation.
- Serve as an SME for ITSM Change Management processes and tools.
- Support and improve ITSM policies, procedures and documentation.
- Produce and present Change Management metrics and reporting.
- Provide process guidance and training to technology stakeholders.
- Work closely with Incident, Problem, Configuration and other ITSM teams.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT operations / IT process management experience, including Change Management.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL Change Enablement / Change Management processes and procedures.
- ITIL v4 certification required.
- Hands-on ServiceNow experience.
- Experience reviewing technical documentation and technology change records.
- Experience with emergency changes, post-implementation reviews and change governance.
- Experience working within a large enterprise IT operations environment.
- IT technical support/operations background.
- Asset Management experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong technical writing, documentation and presentation skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Financial services experience.
- ITIL v5 knowledge/certification.
- Experience working with multiple ITSM disciplines, including Incident, Problem and Configuration Management.
