About the Role
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Technicians to support a short-term warehouse operations project in Port Coquitlam, BC. In this role, technicians will be responsible for replacing batteries in electronic equipment while ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
This position is ideal for individuals with basic technical aptitude, and the ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Replace batteries in electronic voting equipment according to established procedures.
Inspect equipment for proper functionality following battery replacement.
Utilize basic hand tools, including screwdrivers and similar tools, to complete assigned tasks.
Follow written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently.
Handle electronic equipment carefully to prevent damage.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Support warehouse operations as needed throughout the project.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Have basic computer literacy and understand how to operate a computer.
Be able to identify and work with computer screens and related equipment.
Be capable of following instructions accurately.
Be comfortable using basic hand tools, such as screwdrivers.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a warehouse environment for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials as required.
Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
Ability to bend, reach, and use hand tools throughout the shift.
