We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst/ Project Manager for a 25-month contract position, in Regina, Saskatchewan. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
This position is 100% onsite. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. It is NOT a remote role.
Role Description
Our client is looking for a senior Business Analyst to lead the project management and business analysis activities for a portfolio of small to medium-sized cyber security projects. This is a hands-on role that combines strong project administration skills with solid business analysis practice, taking initiatives from project request and planning through execution and delivery. The successful candidate will bring a strong IT background, ideally with experience on security and infrastructure projects, and will work closely with the program team, technical resources and business stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate workshops, manage scope, schedule and cost, and keep projects on track.
Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities for assigned projects, including gathering and documenting requirements and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Plan and execute small to medium sized cybersecurity projects.
- Manage project scope, schedules, costs, risks, and integration activities.
- Maintain project plans, documentation, status updates, and other project administration materials.
- Work with technical and business teams to keep deliverables on track and address issues as they arise.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Senior-level experience as a Business Analyst delivering IT projects
- Must possess a minimum of five years of documented experience executing combined business analysis and project management functions on enterprise-level projects.
- Strong, team-oriented mindset and demonstrated collaborative, communication and influencing skills.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience working within IT and OT (operational technology) environments, specifically cyber security, is an asset
