Location: Hybrid - 1–2 days onsite Downtown, Toronto, Ontario
Contract: November 9, 2026 – November 8, 2027
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
$40-$46/hr + 4% vacation pay

We are seeking an experienced Recruiter V to join a collaborative recruiting team supporting high-volume retail hiring for a leading Canadian financial institution.

What you’ll do
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, from intake through offer and onboarding
- Open requisitions and coordinate recruitment activities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide talent-market insights
- Source, assess, and interview candidates
- Coordinate hiring events and recruitment initiatives
- Schedule interviews, including final-round interviews with managers
- Conduct background checks and prepare offers
- Develop and maintain candidate pipelines
- Support recruitment projects and process-improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate recruitment metrics, reports, and tracking
- Monitor and resolve escalated recruitment issues
- Ensure recruitment activities follow organizational policies, compliance requirements, and best practices
- Promote the organization’s employer brand through recruitment activities and candidate engagement
What we’re looking for
- 5–7 years of recruitment experience
- Proven experience managing high-volume recruitment
- Full-cycle recruitment expertise
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Reporting and recruitment-tracking experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience in a corporate or enterprise environment
- Agency recruitment experience is an asset
- Banking or retail recruitment experience is preferred
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent training
- Strong attention to detail
- A resourceful, collaborative approach and willingness to ask questions
