Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of prioritized enhancements to an online financial reporting application.
- Work with the team to review, clarify, estimate, and prioritize enhancements to meet targeted deadlines.
- Develop and maintain a realistic delivery plan that identifies dependencies, risks, assumptions, and anticipated completion dates.
- Lead the technical design and development of approved application enhancements.
- Collaborate with business users to design, develop, test, document, and support the deployment of approved enhancements.
- Produce application code that complies with established architecture, coding, security, source-control, and change-management practices.
- Maintain development scripts and Azure DevOps build and release pipelines where required.
- Support deployments through development, test, user acceptance, staging, and production environments.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment instructions, configuration documentation, and release notes with operational support information.
- Ensure that source code, configuration information, technical documentation, and other project artifacts are stored in designated repositories.
- Mentor developers to enable ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the application once development is complete.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience with .NET development using C#, ASP.NET MVC, Razor view engine, SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, AutoMapper, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Demonstrated experience developing and supporting applications using ASP.NET Core and a currently supported version of .NET, including .NET 10.
- Proven experience delivering enhancements to complex, business-critical .NET applications.
- Proven experience analyzing and modifying applications containing tightly coupled or complex business rules.
- Experience with API development and maintenance.
- Experience using DevOps pipelines to manage code deployment.
- Experience with Entity Framework code-first migrations applied across multiple deployment regions (UAT, Stage, and Production).
- Experience with Telerik UI for ASP.NET component development and version maintenance.
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) report development, modification, and validation.
- Experience developing program code in accordance with complex, legislated business rules.
- Experience with financial or regulatory reporting applications, such as contributions, expenses, returns, and receipting.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and produce professional documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor developers to manage and maintain a .NET application once development is complete.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with the ReactJS or AngularJS framework.
