General Anesthesia Program Manager
At Anytime Dental Group, we are continuing to expand access to comprehensive dental care across our growing network of clinics. We are looking for a highly organized and operationally focused General Anesthesia Program Manager to oversee and coordinate our General Anesthesia (GA) and sleep dentistry program across Ontario.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing people, schedules, processes, and clinical operations together. You will serve as the central point of coordination for the program, helping ensure our GA days are well planned, appropriately staffed, fully prepared, and provide a consistent experience for both patients and clinical teams.
What You’ll Do
As our General Anesthesia Program Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day coordination and continued growth of the GA and sleep dentistry program across participating Anytime Dental clinics.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the master GA schedule and coordinating treatment days across multiple clinic locations.
- Overseeing the patient pipeline and working with clinic teams to maximize scheduling and utilization.
- Coordinating dentists, anesthesia providers, Registered Nurses, dental assistants, and clinic support required for each GA day.
- Partnering with Clinic Managers to ensure locations are operationally prepared, including equipment, supplies, recovery areas, and other program requirements.
- Acting as a key point of contact between clinics, providers, nursing teams, Operations, and clinical leadership.
- Developing and maintaining consistent workflows, checklists, trackers, timelines, and communication processes.
- Supporting the launch of GA and sleep dentistry services within new Anytime Dental locations.
- Monitoring cancellations, available capacity, operational risks, and opportunities to improve program performance.
- Maintaining program reporting and providing leadership with updates on activity, utilization, challenges, and opportunities.
- Working alongside clinical leadership and the Registered Nurse responsible for anesthesia compliance to ensure operational processes support applicable regulatory and clinical requirements.
While you will play an important role in coordinating the program, clinical decision-making will remain with the appropriate regulated healthcare professionals.
What You Bring
We are looking for someone with strong operational instincts who is comfortable coordinating multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
You may be a great fit if you have:
- Previous experience in dental operations, healthcare program management, surgical coordination, treatment coordination, or a related healthcare setting.
- Experience managing complex schedules, clinical procedures, or multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of patient scheduling, treatment coordination, and clinical office operations.
- Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- The ability to proactively identify issues and resolve them before they impact clinic or patient operations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence working across multiple clinics, teams, and stakeholders without relying on direct reporting relationships.
- Comfort working with operational metrics, reporting, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Dental experience, with exposure to General Anesthesia, sedation, surgical dentistry, or sleep dentistry, considered a strong asset.
- The ability to travel between Anytime Dental clinics throughout Ontario as required.
Flexibility in working hours will be required based on scheduled GA days, clinic operations, and new program launches.
This will be a Base Salary + Bonus position.
