HVAC SALES CLOSER - INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR
Location: Halifax, Dartmouth & Surrounding Areas

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Sales Closer to join our team as an independent contractor.
This is a closing role, not a lead generation role. You will receive approximately 3-4 pre-qualified, pre-booked in-home appointments per day with homeowners who are interested in HVAC solutions.
Your focus is to meet with the customer, understand their needs, present the right solution, handle objections, and close the sale.
There is no cold calling, door knocking, or requirement to generate your own leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend 3-4 pre-booked, pre-qualified in-home appointments each day
- Meet with homeowners to understand their heating and cooling needs
- Recommend HVAC solutions based on the customer's needs and home
- Present pricing, financing options, and available incentives
- Answer customer questions and handle objections
- Negotiate and close sales during the initial appointment
- Complete contracts and required sales paperwork
- Enter customer and sales information into the CRM
- Work with the internal team to ensure a smooth handoff after the sale
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in in-home or direct sales
- Experience in HVAC, solar, roofing, windows, home improvement, or another high-ticket sales environment
- Proven ability to close sales during the first appointment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
- Comfortable selling directly to homeowners in their homes
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Professional, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple appointments throughout the day
- Comfortable using a CRM and digital sales tools
- Valid driver's license
- Own reliable vehicle required
- Willing and able to travel throughout Halifax, Dartmouth, and surrounding areas
Compensation
- 100% commission
- Uncapped earning potential
- Potential to earn $100,000-$200,000+ annually based on sales performance
