Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Compensation: Starting at $50/hr
The Opportunity
Our client, a leading Canadian financial services organization, is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to support its Enterprise Platforms and Business Applications portfolio.
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Sourcing, this individual will lead technology sourcing initiatives across enterprise software, SaaS platforms, and business applications while partnering with key business and technology stakeholders across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys influencing sourcing decisions, negotiating complex software agreements, and driving value through strategic supplier partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing initiatives supporting enterprise applications, software, and business technology platforms.
- Develop sourcing, negotiation, and contracting strategies for technology vendors and software providers.
- Drive supplier optimization, cost savings, and commercial improvements across the vendor portfolio.
- Partner with stakeholders across technology, finance, HR, legal, risk, and business functions.
- Conduct market assessments and supplier evaluations to support technology purchasing decisions.
- Support vendor governance and relationship management activities.
- Analyze supplier spend and contract data to identify sourcing opportunities and efficiencies.
- Prepare executive-level recommendations, presentations, and sourcing strategies.
- Manage multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, technology procurement, supplier management, or vendor management.
- Experience negotiating complex software, SaaS, and enterprise technology agreements.
- Strong understanding of vendor management, contract negotiations, technology sourcing, and procurement best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and manage complex sourcing initiatives.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to navigate multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
- Experience with SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar procurement systems is considered an asset.
- Financial Services, Insurance, Banking, or other regulated industry experience preferred.
