About the Role
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Level 2, 3, and 4 Electrical Apprentices to join our growing team. In this role, you will work alongside licensed Journeypersons on large-scale apartment and multi-family residential builds across Winnipeg. This is the perfect opportunity to keep your hours consistent, refine your skills on major commercial-scale residential projects, and successfully stack hours toward earning your Journeyperson ticket.
Key Responsibilities

Installation: Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install cabling within multi-unit residential structures.

Wiring: Pull wire and rough-in electrical systems for apartment units, common areas, parkades, and main electrical rooms.

Device Finishing: Install, splice, and connect fixtures, switches, receptacles, and distribution panels during the trim out phase.

Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret electrical schematics, architectural blueprints, and building codes to execute layouts accurately.

Collaboration & Safety: Work efficiently with Journeypersons and other trades while strictly adhering to provincial safety regulations and Manitoba electrical codes.
Qualifications & Requirements

Apprenticeship Status: Must be currently registered as a Level 2, 3, or 4 Electrical Apprentice with Apprenticeship Manitoba.

Physical Capabilities: Must be comfortable and capable of safely working at heights and on ladders or elevated work platforms (scaffolding, scissor lifts).

Relevant Experience: Prior experience working on multi-family residential projects (apartments, condos) or large-scale commercial wood-frame/concrete builds is a major asset.

Tools & Gear: Must have your own hand tools basic to your apprenticeship level, as well as CSA-approved steel-toe boots.

Skills & Attitude: Strong work ethic, physical fitness for active construction sites, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset.

Transit: Reliable transportation to travel to various job sites within Winnipeg.
