Role Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud environments.
- Lead cloud migration initiatives from on-premises or other cloud platforms to AWS.
- Develop infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or
AWS CloudFormation.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Implement cloud security best practices, governance frameworks, and compliance standards.
- Monitor cloud environments and optimize performance, availability, and cost utilization.
- Work closely with development, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver cloud-native
solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and application-related issues.
- Evaluate emerging AWS services and recommend innovative cloud solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated substantial IT experience with a proven track record of delivering complex
technology solutions.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating AWS Cloud solutions
in production environments.
- Strong experience with AWS EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, Route 53, CloudFront, IAM, KMS,
Security Groups, WAF, ECS/EKS and containerization technologies, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS
Config.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation).
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
- Experience implementing cloud security, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity
strategies.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, and cloud architecture
Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 130,000 Per Year
