Project Coordinator – PMO / Business Transformation
We’re looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to support a variety of business, service-delivery, operational and technology-enabled initiatives, as well as broader PMO activities.
Contract: Through March 31, 2027
Hours: 35 hours/week
Location: Hybrid/Remote – preference for candidates to work hybrid in Vancouver office up to 2 days/week when required
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support multiple concurrent projects, workstreams and PMO initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, status reports, RAID/decision logs and documentation.
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, action items and stakeholder follow-ups.
- Track project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, milestones and deliverables.
- Prepare project communications, presentations, dashboards and briefing materials.
- Support financial tracking, forecasting, procurement and vendor administration.
- Coordinate workshops, testing, implementation, training, readiness and change-management activities.
- Lead assigned work packages or smaller projects through completion.
- Support PMO portfolio reporting, governance, templates, standards and continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of progressive project coordination or comparable project-delivery experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects and shifting priorities with limited supervision.
- Background supporting business process, service delivery, organizational change, operational improvement and technology-enabled initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, governance, financial tracking, risk/issues, reporting and document control.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, organization and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
- Project coordination/PM certification is an asset.
- Public sector, legal/justice, nonprofit or social-services experience is an asset.
