Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review corporate income tax returns and tax provisions
- Support Canadian corporate tax compliance across multiple entities
- Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic recommendations
- Research complex tax matters and monitor legislative changes
- Support tax audits and interactions with tax authorities
- Drive process improvements and special tax projects
Requirements
- CPA and/or MTax designation
- 4+ years of progressive tax experience
- Minimum 3 years of Canadian corporate tax experience
- Big 4 or large public accounting firm experience strongly preferred
- Strong corporate tax compliance, provision, and technical research experience
Ideal Background
This role is well suited for a Tax Manager or Senior Tax professional from Big 4/public practice or industry looking for broader exposure across compliance, planning, research, and advisory responsibilities within a highly respected organization.
Compensation:
Salary range of $115,000-$135,000, plus a competitive bonus, strong benefits package, and generous pension program.
