About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Corporate Financial Reporting Manager, this role supports the financial reporting function across multiple Canadian and U.S. entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, account analysis, and variance investigations
- Support consolidated financial reporting and preparation of management reporting packages
- Serve as a key liaison with external auditors during interim and year-end audits
- Support acquisition accounting and integration of newly acquired businesses
- Oversee payroll accounting activities, including reconciliations and compliance-related reporting
- Drive process improvement, automation, and reporting enhancement initiatives
- Participate in ERP implementations, system upgrades, and finance transformation projects
- Collaborate with FP&A and operational stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
About You
- CPA designated (or close to completion)
- Seniors from a larger public accounting firm (Big 4 or midsize firms)
- Strong financial reporting and month-end close experience
- Industry exposure to construction, manufacturing, industrial, or similar sectors preferred
Compensation
- Base Salary: $90,000 - $100,000
- Bonus: 10%
