About the Opportunity
Corporate Financial Reporting & Month-End Close (50%)
- Lead the review and quality control of monthly close activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS
- Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules prepared by the accounting team
- Oversee multi-entity consolidations and ensure financial information is presented accurately for executive leadership and stakeholders
- Support the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages
Technical Accounting & IFRS Compliance (30%)
- Act as the subject matter expert for technical accounting matters, including IFRS research and application
- Manage IFRS 16 lease accounting and complex accounting transactions
- Strengthen internal controls and reporting processes across the finance function
- Provide technical guidance and review support to analysts throughout the close process
Leadership, Audit & Special Projects (20%)
- Support executive, Board, lender, and external stakeholder reporting requirements
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit-related deliverables
- Supervise and mentor two Senior Financial Analysts while helping build the future reporting team structure
- Participate in finance transformation initiatives and special projects as the organization continues to grow
About You
- CPA designation required
- Big 4 or mid-market public accounting firm training required
- Minimum of 1 year of Manager-level experience
- Strong IFRS background with experience researching and applying accounting standards
- Strong technical accounting expertise and financial reporting experience
Salary Range
$120,000 - $130,000 base salary + 10% target bonus + comprehensive benefits package.
