JOB OPPORTUNITY - Bailiff: Service of process and enforcement of judgments

We are looking for a hardworking, available individual who wants to handle service of process, judgment enforcement, and official statements (constats), and who is eager to build something long-term with us. Your main tasks:
Serving legal proceedings and documents within your territory.
Enforcing civil and criminal judgments (seizure of movable property, vehicle seizures, evictions).
Drafting official bailiff statements (*constats*).
Writing official reports and records using our Juriweb / Jurisoft 2 software.
Collecting payments from debtors and negotiating payment agreements. Daily communication with our dispatch and customer service team, providing support for your assignments (Microsoft Teams).
Any other related tasks.

Requirements
Valid bailiff's license issued by the *Chambre des huissiers de justice du Québec*.
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Assets
Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written).
Experience with service of process, enforcement of judgments, or official constatations.
Comfort with technology (our bailiffs use digital tools daily).

Responsibilities
Serve legal proceedings and documents, enforce civil and criminal judgments, and draft official bailiff statements within the assigned territory. Prepare reports and records using Juriweb or Jurisoft 2, collect payments, negotiate payment agreements, and coordinate daily with dispatch and customer service.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a valid bailiff's license issued by the Chambre des huissiers de justice du Québec, have a valid driver's license, and have access to a reliable vehicle. The role calls for a dependable, punctual, autonomous, organized, thorough, professional, and empathetic person; bilingual French and English ability and relevant bailiff experience are assets.
