A strong team, ready to reach the next level. Our Client is looking for an MRO Development Director to join a team of experts recognized for their know-how, the quality of their maintenance and their unique expertise in classic Boeing 737 aircraft, maintained to the highest industry standards.
Their mission is to deliver top-quality maintenance that is safe and fully compliant with regulatory requirements, while optimizing costs and turnaround times to maximize the availability and flexibility of our fleet.
This position is at the heart of that mission. They are not looking for someone to reinvent everything, but for a leader who can take them to the next level: modernize planning, sharpen our processes, and drive efficiency and productivity. Without ever compromising quality or safety.
Responsibilities
- Rethink and modernize maintenance, planning and workflows ;
- Improve processes: preparation, supply and tooling ;
- Drive efficiency and productivity: ready-to-use work kits, optimized resource use and performance indicators ;
- Deliver on time, on budget and always safely: respecting aircraft downtime and return-to-service dates ;
- Support growth - backed by projects, capacity and infrastructure.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management or a related field ;
- 10 or more years of experience in planning, production control, or operations management in a complex technical environment (aerospace, rail, marine, mining, or heavy industry) ;
- A solid track record in planning, project management and development ;
- Knowledge of Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) regulations, an asset ;
- Strong ability to optimize maintenance operations ;
- A collaborative, cooperative mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
