Adecco is recruiting an analytical and technically skilled Operations Analyst on behalf of an established self-storage organization with multiple locations across the Greater Toronto Area.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Operations Analyst will transform operational data into clear, meaningful insights that support business decisions. This person will work extensively with data from the company’s SiteLink platform, using Python and other analytical tools to identify trends, understand customer behaviour and prepare recurring management reports.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data but also understands the business story behind the numbers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Extract, organize and analyze operational data from SiteLink
- Use Python and other analytical tools to review and interpret data
- Prepare accurate weekly reports for the Chief Operating Officer and management team
- Analyze customer behaviour, including length of stay, move-out activity and reasons for customer departures
- Identify operational trends, patterns, risks and opportunities
- Translate complex findings into clear and practical business insights
- Build and maintain recurring dashboards and management reports
- Support leadership with data needed for operational and strategic decisions
- Improve existing reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation
- Validate information and maintain a high level of data accuracy and consistency
- Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from senior leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in operations analysis, business intelligence, data analysis or a related position
- Practical experience using Python for data analysis
- Strong Excel and data-management skills
- Experience developing recurring reports for management or senior leadership
- Ability to identify trends and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical thinking, accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple reporting priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with SiteLink, property-management systems or self-storage operations is an asset
- Experience with reporting, dashboard or data-visualization tools is an asset
