Your internship may take different forms depending on current business needs. You may have the opportunity to join an ERP project team, while also contributing to other types of projects, such as internal initiatives, process improvement, offering development, or related technology projects. In all cases, you will work on real-world assignments alongside experienced professionals.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32/hour. This role is an existing vacancy.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Scrum / Project Management
- Prepare and facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, planning sessions, reviews, and retrospectives) with the support of a Scrum Master or senior Project Manager
- Maintain the backlog, dashboards, and progress indicators (Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent)
- Track risks, issues, actions, and decisions (RAID log) and follow up with responsible stakeholders
- Prepare meeting minutes and progress reports
- Contribute to the planning of milestones and deliverables
Business Analysis
- Participate in workshops to understand stakeholder needs and processes
- Document current and future-state processes and write user stories and acceptance criteria
- Analyze gaps between business requirements and proposed solutions
- Prepare test scenarios, document defects, and follow up on their resolution
- Produce functional documentation, training materials, or analyses to support decision-making
Examples of potential projects
- Contributing to a Dynamics 365 F&O implementation or enhancement project
- An internal initiative focused on structuring or improving our delivery methods
- Developing reusable tools, templates, or accelerators
- Other technology projects where your coordination and analytical skills can add value
What you will learn
- The fundamentals of ERP systems and key business cycles: procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and record-to-report
- Agile practices applied to real-world projects, where theory meets practice
- Tools within the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure DevOps, Power Platform, Microsoft 365)
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Education
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Business Administration (IT, Operations, Finance, Information Systems), or a related field
- Available full-time for the Winter 2027 term
Skills we’re looking for
- Strong interest in business processes, project management, and enterprise systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. You like to keep things moving and make sure nothing falls through the cracks
- Strong communication skills and confidence facilitating meetings
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Adaptability. You are comfortable moving between different contexts and projects
- Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft 365 suite
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role, which involves interactions with both national and international clients.
Assets
- Coursework or projects related to project management, Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), or information systems
- Initial exposure to an ERP system (Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, Business Central, etc.), including academic experience
- Certification or training in progress: PSM I, CAPM, or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (MB-910 / MB-920)
- Previous internship, student employment, or extracurricular experience involving coordination
