Job Title: Angular UI Developer
Duration: 06 Months Contract to Hire
Type: 3 days/week onsite (hybrid)
Location: Mississauga, ON
About the Role:
- We're looking for an experienced Angular UI Developer to join a large-scale enterprise program. You'll build secure, accessible, high-performance web applications used by thousands of users, working alongside UX designers, backend engineers, QA, and product owners in an Agile delivery team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive, modular UIs using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and SCSS
- Convert Figma/Adobe XD designs into reusable, pixel-accurate components
- Contribute to a shared component library and enterprise design system
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and secure backend services, handling authentication and authorization flows (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT)
- Manage complex application state using RxJS and NgRx
- Build data-heavy interfaces: forms with advanced validation, tables with sorting/filtering/pagination, and dashboards
- Apply secure front-end coding practices (XSS/CSRF prevention, input sanitization, Content Security Policy)
- Optimize performance through lazy loading, change detection strategies, and bundle analysis
- Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
- Write unit tests (Jest or Jasmine/Karma) and end-to-end tests (Cypress or Playwright), maintaining strong code coverage
- Participate in peer code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and technical design discussions
- Maintain clear technical documentation and support production issue resolution
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of front-end development experience, including 3+ years with Angular (v15+; experience with standalone components and signals preferred)
- Expert-level TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS
- Strong command of RxJS and reactive programming patterns
- Hands-on experience with NgRx or equivalent state management
- Experience with Angular Material, PrimeNG, or similar component libraries
- Experience with responsive layouts (Flexbox, Grid) and accessible design
- Proficiency with Git, branching strategies, and pull request workflows
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams using Jira or similar tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with micro-frontend architecture (Module Federation, Nx monorepos)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and static analysis tools (SonarQube)
- Working knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Experience with internationalization (i18n) and localization
- Familiarity with React or Vue
