Job Title: Service Advisor
Location: Sparwood, BC (onsite)
Duration: 3 months contract (with possibility of extension/conversion)
Job Summary
Serve as the first point of contact for customers by phone or at the branch, providing quality customer service, understanding customer needs, and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Build positive relationships with customers and assess their needs.
- Gather relevant customer, equipment, and technical information.
- Create basic work orders and maintain accurate service documentation.
- Provide customers with status updates as requested.
- Troubleshoot customer issues using established workflows, procedures, and electronic service tools.
- Support warranty processes by reviewing issues, determining coverage requirements, and submitting claims with proper documentation.
- Escalate technical issues when required and document troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
- Maintain accurate records in service management systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills gained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
- Strong customer service, communication, conflict management, problem-solving, and financial acumen skills.
- Ability to use service management systems, data management tools, and electronic service tools.
- May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
