- Pay Rate: C$70.00–C$85.00 / Hour (CAD)
- Shift / Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday; hybrid schedule with Wednesday and third Friday in-office
Job SummaryThe Senior Front-End Developer / Team Lead is responsible for leading the technical design, development, and integration of enterprise web applications while contributing hands-on development expertise. The successful candidate will serve as a senior individual contributor capable of driving work independently, mentoring team members, participating in code reviews, and delivering responsive, accessible, and scalable web solutions. This role will focus primarily on front-end web development and responsive web applications while collaborating closely with backend teams and native application teams where integrations are required. The candidate will participate in feature development, application enhancements, technical planning, release activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications.
- Lead and contribute to front-end development initiatives using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and application architecture decisions.
- Build responsive and accessible user experiences aligned with enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
- Support release management and deployment activities.
- Mentor developers and promote development best practices.
- Drive work independently with minimal onboarding or supervision.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and development processes.
Required Skills- 5 years of front-end web development experience.
- Strong JavaScript development experience.
- Strong HTML5 and CSS/SCSS experience.
- Experience with Vue.js OR comparable modern front-end frameworks (React preferred as a transferable skill set).
- Experience working with state management libraries such as Pinia, Vuex, Redux, or similar.
- Experience with Git/GitHub source control and modern development workflows.
- Experience working with Node.js packages and front-end build tooling.
- Experience building responsive web applications.
- Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards.
- Experience participating in release management and deployment processes.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a senior-level independent contributor with minimal ramp-up time.

Required Experience- 5–10 years of overall experience in front-end web development, with demonstrated ability to operate as a senior-level independent contributor.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements- Hybrid work arrangement with required in-office days (Wednesday and third Friday).
- Office located in Toronto, ON.
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Important Notes- Interview process consists of 1–2 rounds: one with a Senior Manager and one with a Director; conducted in person (behavioral and technical); approximately 1 hour per interview.
