Job SummaryThis is a project-based Business Information Management Specialist role supporting a team of four within a fast-paced financial services environment. The contractor will focus on facilitating the review of requirements and ensuring those requirements are implemented, delivered, and validated. The role is fully internal-facing, with approximately 20–30% of time spent in meetings, and the contractor will not have access to any customer data. On-the-job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities- Facilitate the review of requirements and ensure requirements are implemented, delivered, and validated.
- Perform advanced data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and investigation of complex data issues using SQL and Python.
- Support data sourcing, onboarding, integration, lineage analysis, source-to-target mapping, and end-to-end data flows across enterprise datasets on modern cloud-based data platforms.
- Support data quality and business validation, including analysis of mapping and transformation rules, control and reconciliation results, and root-cause investigation.
- Partner with technology teams to resolve data defects.
- Establish and execute disciplined testing practices for large-scale business and data initiatives, including test planning, test-case design, requirements traceability, execution coordination, defect triage, regression testing, and test evidence.
- Lead cross-functional teams, drive execution, and deliver tangible business impact.
- Translate business requirements into practical data solutions and measurable outcomes.

Required Skills- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and investigation of complex data issues – 5 years
- Strong knowledge of banking products and Treasury domains, including exposure to wholesale and/or retail businesses and use cases such as investments and Treasury data products modeling – 5 years
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex data initiatives in banking or financial services, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical data solutions and measurable outcomes – 5 years
- Experience with project testing discipline – 5 years
- Strong technical data management capabilities across enterprise datasets, including data sourcing, onboarding, integration, lineage analysis, source-to-target mapping, and support for modern cloud-based data platforms and end-to-end data flows
- Strong technical capability to support data quality and business validation, including analysis of mapping and transformation rules, control and reconciliation results, root-cause investigation, and partnership with technology teams to resolve defects
- Experience establishing disciplined testing practices for large-scale business and data initiatives, including test planning, test-case design, requirements traceability, execution coordination, defect triage, regression testing, and test evidence
