Marketing Coordinator (Bilingual: English/French)
About the Opportunity
Our client is an established, growing organization with branches across Canada. They're bringing their marketing coordination in-house for the first time and are looking for a hands-on, bilingual Marketing Coordinator to be the internal point person for all things marketing.
You'll work directly with senior leadership every day. You'll also partner closely with an established external marketing team that includes specialists in design, video and animation. This is a chance to build the in-house marketing function from the ground up, with real potential to grow.
What You'll Do
- Create bilingual (English and French) marketing materials, including product sheets, line cards, pricing sheets, catalogues, banners, email signatures and promotional items
- Keep the company website current and accurate
- Co-manage the company's LinkedIn presence and help shape its social media strategy
- Support branch managers across the country with their marketing needs, including display materials, promotional gear and partner-specific campaigns
- Plan and support internal trade-show style events held 4–6 times a year across Western Canada
- Partner with external creative resources on projects such as company promotional videos, from concept and messaging through to the final product
- Build brand visibility in new markets through social media, targeted campaigns, events and print
- Develop and maintain brand standards, including a brand guide and look-and-feel guidelines for new office openings
- Help shape future initiatives such as email marketing campaigns
What You Bring
- About 5 years of marketing experience in a coordinator or generalist role
- Full professional fluency in English and French, written and spoken. This is required, since you'll be designing and writing materials in both languages.
- A versatile, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to generalist marketing work
- Self-sufficiency and resourcefulness, plus the judgment to know when to ask for help
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A service-minded, collaborative personality: you believe the team is greater than the individual
- Comfort working with cross-functional and remote partners
- Willingness to travel about 10% of the time, including an initial onboarding and training trip
What's Offered
- Competitive Base Salary
- RRSP matching after one year
- Health and dental benefits
- Hybrid schedule with 1 remote day a week, plus extra flexibility at times
- Early-start office hours (7:00–3:30 or 8:00–4:30)
- Clear growth progression within the company
Why This Role?
You'll be the first in-house marketing hire, with direct access to leadership and the backing of a full external creative team. You'll have real ownership of the work and the chance to grow your career as the function expands.
