Industrial Mechanical Superintendent opportunity with a well-established industrial contractor!

Our client is an established industrial contractor delivering complex projects across BC. With a strong presence in the industrial sector, they specialize in technically challenging projects involving mechanical installations, piping and industrial infrastructure. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are a seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their team and lead the delivery of a major project.
Your new role
As Superintendent, you will be responsible for leading all on-site construction activities across complex industrial projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, labour planning, equipment utilization, subcontractor coordination, daily reporting, job costing, and payroll submissions while supporting project teams with constructability reviews, scheduling, and risk management. You will play a key leadership role in mentoring foremen and field personnel, promoting a strong safety culture, and maintaining positive relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. This role will suit a hands-on, experienced field leader who enjoys managing large crews, solving problems on site, and driving successful project execution in a heavy industrial environment.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring 8 - 10 years of experience within an industrial construction environment, ideally with exposure to technically complex projects. You will have a strong understanding of industrial construction methodologies, labour planning, contract administration, equipment coordination, safety requirements, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will hold an engineering degree, technical diploma, or trade certification, with proven experience leading large crews, managing multiple site priorities, mentoring foremen and field personnel, and working closely with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
