JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking a Senior Security Architect to serve as a trusted cybersecurity advisor and architect for executive stakeholders and enterprise clients. This is a highly consultative, hands-on architecture role focused on designing and communicating comprehensive security strategies across multiple cyber domains. The successful candidate will be comfortable challenging assumptions, influencing senior executives, and creating end-to-end security architectures that incorporate cloud, automation, AI, and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a senior cybersecurity advisor to executives, including VPs, CISOs, Senior Directors, and external clients.
- Design and communicate enterprise security architecture strategies across multiple security domains.
- Develop high-level architecture roadmaps and visually represent future-state security environments.
- Evaluate security technologies and determine how they integrate within broader enterprise ecosystems.
- Provide architectural guidance for cloud security, identity, network security, automation, and emerging AI/agentic solutions.
- Challenge existing approaches and provide strategic recommendations backed by technical expertise and business rationale. Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure architecture designs are technically feasible and aligned with business objectives.
Must haves
- 10-15+ years of experience within cybersecurity, including enterprise security architecture responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing security solutions across multiple cyber domains.
- Strong background in cloud security architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Working knowledge of modern cybersecurity platforms and technologies such as:
○ Palo Alto Networks
○ IAM / Identity Security
○ Prisma Cloud
○ Zscaler
○ Other enterprise security technologies
- Strong understanding of security integrations and how different security tools interact within an enterprise environment.
- Previous hands-on implementation experience with cybersecurity technologies before moving into architecture roles.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior business and technical stakeholders.
