Required Skills & Experience

Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Senior C#/.NET Developer to support a large-scale application modernization initiative within a Capital Markets technology environment. This individual will play a key role in redesigning and enhancing a legacy backend platform, helping drive automation, scalability, and long-term platform transformation while collaborating closely with business and technology stakeholders.
The successful candidate will work on complex backend systems leveraging C#/.NET technologies, participate in technical design and development activities, and contribute to strategic modernization efforts. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams to gather requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET technologies.
- Analyze existing legacy systems and contribute to redesign and modernization initiatives.
- Build automation capabilities and improve straight-through processing (STP) workflows.
- Collaborate with business analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in application architecture, system integration, and technical design discussions.
- Perform code reviews and contribute to development best practices and coding standards.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.
- Create and execute unit tests while adhering to SOLID design principles.
- Support application delivery throughout the full software development lifecycle.
- Work cross-functionally with development, support, and business teams to ensure successful project execution.
