About The Opportunity
Our Public Sector client is seeking three (3) Senior Computer Application Support resources to provide technical architecture, solution development, advisory, and operational support for SharePoint Online and related Microsoft 365 services.
The successful candidates will support the design, implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise and business-level SharePoint Online solutions. The work will involve collaborating with business, functional, and technical stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, develop solutions, prepare documentation and templates, and provide technical guidance related to the Microsoft 365 environment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Design and develop scalable SharePoint Online architectures that support business, information management, and operational requirements, including site structures, hub models, metadata frameworks, and integrated content strategies
- Provide technical advice, impact assessments, and implementation recommendations related to SharePoint Online solutions
- Define and implement site hierarchies, hub associations, navigation models, content types, taxonomy, metadata schemas, and permissions structures
- Establish and maintain governance standards, including naming conventions, provisioning models, lifecycle management, and usage guidelines
- Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and translate operational and business needs into SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 technical solutions
- Configure and build SharePoint components, including sites, libraries, lists, and pages.
- Develop integrated Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to automate processes and enhance functionality
- Plan and support the migration of content from legacy systems and file repositories while aligning with retention, disposition, and records management requirements
- Design and recommend scalable access control models using Azure AD and SharePoint groups, applying least-privilege principles and addressing security, governance, and operational risks
- Maintain and improve SharePoint solutions through troubleshooting, performance tuning, search optimization, scripting, reporting, and continuous monitoring
- Conduct testing and user acceptance activities and develop documentation and training materials
- Support change management and monitor Microsoft 365 roadmap impacts while contributing to ongoing improvements in usability, governance, and system performance
- Provide operational sustainment, documentation, and knowledge transfer services
- Mentor non-developers through code reviews, technical guidance, pair programming, and training
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and project stakeholders to gather requirements, validate solutions, and deliver products within established timelines and scope
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Certificate, diploma, or degree in computer science or other relevant field from a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution
- A minimum of 36 months of experience within the last 60 months developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications and services
- A minimum of 24 months of experience within the last 60 months developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Dynamics 365 services
- A minimum of 36 months of experience within the last 60 months administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 services within an organization of 500 or more users
- A minimum of 36 months of experience within the last 60 months with Microsoft Dynamics 365 services governance and information management practices
- Advanced English oral, comprehension, and written communication skills
- Must be a Canadian citizen and hold a valid Secret security clearance
