About The Opportunity
Our public sector client has an immediate requirement for two Senior Organizational Design Consultants to support a significant modernization and digital transformation initiative in Ottawa.
The successful consultants will provide senior level organizational design and process engineering expertise to support the review, redesign and implementation of administrative and operational processes. The work will focus on increasing efficiency, reducing administrative burden and duplication, and enabling better data driven decision making across the organization.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Map existing operational and administrative processes
- Identify required process modifications to improve efficiency and reduce administrative burden
- Prototype potential solutions and analyze associated costs, risks and implementation options
- Assist in the development of procedures related to organizational design
- Review existing work processes and organizational structures and assess their efficiency and effectiveness
- Compile, assess and communicate organizational design analysis
- Provide senior officials with advice on developing and integrating new organizational models or modifying existing models
- Coordinate the implementation of organizational changes
- Integrate sound Information Management practices in accordance with organizational policies and directives to support data driven decision making
- Perform other process and organizational design activities as required
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in organizational design and/or process engineering, within the past seven years
- Experience acquired within the past four years designing and implementing at least one enterprise level business process or solution
- Demonstrated experience with process mapping, process improvement and process redesign
- Experience reviewing organizational structures and assessing operational effectiveness
- Experience developing, evaluating or implementing organizational models and business processes
- Experience advising senior management or senior officials on organizational design or process improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem solving and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A valid Government of Canada Secret security clearance at a minimum level of Secret Level II
