Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse III professional to support warehouse operations, shipping and receiving activities, inventory management, and material handling within a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform shipping, receiving, warehousing, and inventory control activities.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts.
- Utilize SAP and other computer systems to track materials and warehouse transactions.
- Read and interpret work instructions, correspondence, and operational documents.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of related warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience.
- Forklift certification required or preferred.
- Overhead crane certification is preferred.
- Previous SAP experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Basic mathematical skills with the ability to perform inventory-related calculations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and noisy warehouse environment.
- Frequent movement throughout the workday.
- Regularly lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift while loading and unloading materials.
Preferred Experience
- Shipping and receiving operations.
- Warehouse logistics and inventory control.
- Material handling in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
- Experience with SAP warehouse or inventory systems.
